2.ApplicationsTHHN/THWN Conductors are primarily used in conduit for services,feeder and branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications as specified in the National Electrical Code. For the type THHN, conductor is suitable for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90ºC. As for the type THWN,conductor is suitable in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90ºC in dry locations or 75ºC in wet locations or not to wxceed 75ºC when exposed to oil or coolant. Conductor temperatures are not to exceed 105ºC in dry locations when rated AWM, which is used as appliance wiring material.
