The pad-mounted transformer manufactured by Pearl is the latest product developed on the basis of absorbing the most advanced technology and advantages of the similar products while considering customer's special practical operation habits. It features low loss, small size, easy installation and maintenance and low engineering cost. It can be installed both indoor and outdoor.

Functions and Advantages:
1. High safety protection
Hermetically sealed structure is adopted and all the exposed metal parts are reliably grounded. The transformer requires no insulation distance and personal safety is sufficiently guaranteed.
Totally-insulated connection is adopted for the HV parts and fully-insulated elbow cable plugs are used for input cables, which can be contacted directly and are quite convenient for pull-out and plug-in.
Insulated operation rod is provided for operating load switch, to ensure operator's personal safety.
No exposed un-mountable bolts exist, thus to avoid any accidental or vicious dismounting.
The ventilator can be protected with protective fence if required by customer, thus to avoid vicious destroying or accidental touching.
2. Complete functions and reliable performance
Multiple power supply methods could be provided for HV terminal, for example, terminal, looped-network or dual-power supply. The high-voltage could be measured.
Lightning arrester, electric indicator, fault indicator and other apparatuses can be equipped upon customer's requirement, thus to convenience maintenance and daily inspection.
Plug-in bullet-type fuse and current-limit fuse are provided for system protection, thus to realize the all-round protection for the transformer. The plug-in bullet type fuse is responsible for disconnecting in case of small-scale over-current, including the short-circuit fault, overload and over-oil-temperature at LV side. The current-limit fuse is responsible for disconnecting in case of serious large-scale fault current. In case of any short-circuit fault at the HV side, the fault current could be cut off immediately, thus to protect the HV circuit.
The imported elbow lightning arrester is used, which enables the transformer with high reliability.
Measurement and dynamic/static reactive compensation is possible at LV side. Phase-missing protection, remote communication and other protection functions fully satisfy customer's requirement for safety.
3. Flexible structure
Multiple sub-assembly layouts are available for customer's selection, to meet different practical application requirements.
4.Convenient maintenance
Hermetically sealed tank structure makes transformer free from maintenance.
Elbow cable plug is convenient for maintenance.
Plug-in type fuse is installed on the panel of tank wall, convenient for maintenance.
5. Low power consumption and energy saving
Several types of high-performance transformer are available for customer's selection, among which the amorphous alloy transformer is the most environment-friendly product and especially economic.
6. Low-noise
The pad-mounted transformer manufactured by Pearl features low noise level, which satisfies the application requirement for installation in urban residential area and receives customers' high appreciations.
7. High protection level and weathering resistance
Hermetically sealed tank structure can effectively prevent rain dropping into the tank and air erosion.
The enclosure is fully welded structure and has a protection level not lower than IP33, which can effectively prevent rain and small animal's intrusion.
Special coating technology and processing are carried out for the tank exterior surface and the enclosure. The transformer boasts great weathering resistance and is especially suitable for various hash environment such as mine, desert, altiplano and etc..
8. High mechanical strength and leakage-free
The tank is made of steel plate with thickness not less than 6mm and is fully soldered. The tank has a high mechanical strength and can pass 50kpa pressure test. Leakage test will be carried out for each tank before delivery from the factory.
The tank and enclosure is mounted on the base made of channel iron, thus to ensure no distortion during production transportation and long term operation. |
