Single-head electric tube performance requirements:
1. heating time
At the test voltage, the temperature rise from the ambient temperature to the test temperature should
not exceed 15 min
2. rated power deviation
a. In the case of sufficient heat, the component of the rated power of the deviation should not exceed
the scope of the following provisions;
b. For components rated at less than or equal to 100W: ± 10%;
c. For components with a rated power greater than 100W, + 5% to -10% or 10W, whichever is greater.
3. leakage current
a. Cold leakage current and water pressure and sealing test leakage current should not exceed 0.5mA;
b. The thermal leakage current at the operating temperature should not exceed the calculated value in the
formula, but not more than 5mA;

c. When multiple elements are connected in series to the power supply, the leakage current test should be
carried out as a whole.
4. Insulation resistance
a. The cold insulation resistance should be not less than 50MΩ when factory inspection
b. After the sealing test, long-term storage or after use the insulation resistance should not be with the MΩ
c. The thermal insulation resistance at the operating temperature should not be less than the calculated
value in the formula, but not less than 1MΩ

5. insulation pressure strength
Components should be maintained for 1 min under specified test conditions and test voltage without
flashover and breakdown
6. withstand the ability to power off
The element shall be capable of undergoing a 2000 power failure test under specified test conditions
without damage
7. overload capacity
Components shall be subjected to 30 cycles of overload test under specified test conditions and input
power without damage
8. heat resistance
The element shall withstand 1000 cycles of heat resistance test under specified test conditions and
test voltage without damage
