Revolutionary Conductor Material to Substitute Copper Busbar, Cost-saving
HT Copper clad Aluminum busbar is the new conductor material used for substituting copper busbar. Owning excellent electronic conductivity and tensile strength, HT CCA busbar could greatly reduce the conductor material cost. HT Copper clad Aluminum Busbar adopts advanced diecasting continuous rolling and direct casting technique which makes the copper layer and aluminum layer combining each other firmly and permanently, and has passed the reliability verifications such as 1000 times heavy current thermal cycling test. It is widely used in the electrical equipments such as busway, high-low switchgear cabinet, wind power conductive rail, converter, box-type substation, communication power supply cabinet and other relevant application field.

1. High Interface Bonding Strength
HT CCA busbar adopts diecasting continuous rolling and direct casting technique and the interface bonding strength is more than 35 Mpa. When cut, punched and bent, copper and aluminum could not delaminate and could bear the stress caused by heating expansion and colling contract in major range temperature difference.
2. Copper Volume Ratio 20%, Best Cost Performance
HT CCA busbar copper volume ratio is 20% and meets the requirement of Standard for Electric Power Industry of the People's Republic of China DL/T247-2012 "Copper clad aluminium bus bars for equipments of transmission and commutation".
3. Reliable Service Life
HT CCA busbar does the experiment in the nationally recognized testing agencies (CNAS) and is issued qualified test report according to Standard for Electric Power Industry of the People's Republic of China DL/T247-2012 "Copper clad aluminium bus bars for equipments of transmission and commutation".
1000 times thermal cycling test is done according to the requirements of GB/T 9327-2008"Test Methods and Requirements of Rated voltage 35kV (Um=40. 5kV) and below Power Cables Conductor crimp and mechanical connection of connectors" and is issued qualified test report.
Above two qualified test reports are essential requirements for CCA busbar CCC product identification from China Quality Certification Center.
4. High Electrical Conductivity
Current-carrying capacity of CCA busbar reaches 86% of T2 copper busbars. We could select one standard size bigger than copper busbars when selecting cross-sections, and this does not influence the structures of electronic control equipments and power distribution equipments. We do not need to redesign and it is convenient to change.
5. Low Cost, Energy - Saving
HT CCA busbar could lower at least 40% conductor material cost. Selecting a larger cross section at low cost, the impedance will decrease, the temperature will lower, the energy consumption will be reduced and HT CCA busbar could be used safely.

Beijing Huabei Huatong Electric Co., Ltd., established in 1993, is one of the large copper busbar and aluminum busbar manufactures and one of the drafters of GB/T 5585 copper or aluminum and alloy bus bars for electrical purposes. Beijing Huabei Great Wall Busway Co., Ltd. Was established in 2003 and Suzhou Huatong Compound Materials Co., Ltd. Was established in 2009.
Suzhou Huatong plans to invest 2.8 billion Yuan and an area of 1, 000 acres. The annual output of copper clad aluminum material will be 500, 000 tons with a total value of more than 300 billion Yuan. In October, 2009, the initial investment was 1.08 billion Yuan and our company covered an area of 320 acres. Huatong Company organized a R&D team and invested more than 60 million Yuan in 2006. After hundreds of tests, Huatong Company successfully developed CCA busbar which could replace copper busbar in China in December 2007. CCA busbar production lines were built and put into mass production and market application in 2008. The automatic production line of Suzhou Huatong was put into production in September, 2011. We could produce CCA busbar with the width 30-200mm and the thickness 3-16mm in more than 100 specifications. Huatong could provide customized specifications according to customers' real requirements. HT CCA busbar firstly passed the inspections from three authorized institutions including "National Center of Analysis and Testing for Non-ferrous Metals & Electronic Materials", "China National Center for Quality Supervision and Test of Electrical Control and Distribution on Equipment (CCDT)" and "Machinery Industry Quality Supervision and Test Center for Electrical and Special Wire & Cable" and obtained CECC certification. HT CCA busbar passed the experts identification from China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.
Huatong Company has carried out the industrial research cooperation with University of Shanghai for Science & Technology and Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute. We have invited experts to jointly research the copper and aluminum compound process mechanism and copper and aluminum compound bonding strength and made many tests on expanding with heat and contracting with cold, 1000 times thermal cycling and current carrying capacity determination, etc.
Beijing Huabei Great Wall Busway Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise in Beijing and is attended to revise busway national standard GB7251.2.
