Product Description

1. Application

XYDB7-50/DC 1000VDC Circuit Breaker is a polarised DC breaker for DC circuit protection applications. The unit is four poles wide, and utilises two pieces of busbar to bridge between the four poles, creating a circuit breaker that both protects and isolates two poles.

The 4-Pole 1000VDC MCB utilises existing 2-Pole 500VDC MCB technology. By bridging out between two of the poles with the supplied (and mandatory) busbar pieces, the rated capacity of the breaker becomes 1000VDC. If the busbar is not utilised, the unit can be used as a 4-Pole 500VDC Miniature Circuit Breaker.
