The use of pressure sensors should consider the following situations:
1. Prevent the transmitter from contacting with corrosive or overheated media;
2. Prevent dregs from deposition in ducts;
3. When measuring the liquid pressure, the pressure inlet should be opened on the side of the process pipeline to avoid the sediment deposition;
4. When measuring the gas pressure, the pressure inlet should be at the top of the process pipeline, and the transmitter should also be installed in the upper part of the process pipeline so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process pipeline;
5. The guide tube shall be installed in a place where the temperature fluctuation is small;
6. When measuring the steam or other high temperature medium, the condenser should be connected with the buffer tube (coil tube), and the working temperature of the transmitter should not exceed the limit;
7. When freezing occurs in winter, anti-freeze measures must be taken in the outdoor transmitter to avoid the swelling of the liquid in the inlet, which leads to the damage of the sensor.
8. When measuring the liquid pressure, the installation position of the transmitter should avoid the impact of the liquid (water hammer phenomenon), so as not to damage the sensor.
9. When wiring, connect the cable through the waterproof connector (attachment) or around the tube and tighten the sealing nut to prevent the water from leaking into the transmitter shell through the cable.
