This standard LM7915CT linear regulator from Fairchild Semiconductor is used to manipulate the voltage level of your circuit. It has an overall accuracy of ±4 %. Its typical dropout voltage at current is 2@1A V. This voltage regulation device's single output can produce a current up to 2.2(Typ) A. By working with a maximum input voltage of -35 V, this is the best way to control the power in your circuit. With a fixed output that has a voltage of -15 V, this is power management at its best. Your circuit has the capability to produce a constant current at its output by using a load regulation of 300mV and line regulation of 300mV.
