Manual/ Electric Flip Sockets Brief
This series sockets are used in slap-up office equipment, hotel and other high class multimedia place to set a completed system. Manual Flip Panel Socket
Function and operation:
1. Rotate-type desktop socket is an innovative solution to provide electrical, data, and AV access where you need it. Common applications are furniture, conference tables, desks, workstations, hotel rooms, healthcare settings, along with training and educational applications.
2. The socket is powered by an electric drive motor with magnetic clutch that rotates the unit to the stored position when not in use. A photoelectric eye is integrated into the unit to prevent rotation when the socket is in use or if there is an obstruction on top of the socket.
3. The socket offers outlets for accessibility to electric, internet and telephone, and those can be customized for other data and AV access.
4. To store the socket, press the button to rotate to the closed position. In the closed position, the socket is flush with the furniture and provides a clean and elegant look. This closed position also prevents accidental spillage of fluids into the electrical and data outlets.
5. The socket has a photoelectric lock out that prevents the socket from closing when anything is plugged into the unit. This feature also avoids potential cord damage and hand injury. The socket will close with the push of the button when no cords or plugs are connected the unit.
6. The socket has electric drive motor with magnetic clutch. This ensure reliable rotation and the ability to orient itself to the proper position exactly every time. As an override, manual rotation is possible to close the socket when power is not available or during installation.
Operation method:
Step one: When the socket is powered up, the indicator light is illuminated.
Caution: When the socket is first powered up, the socket will rotate to open position automatically, to facilitate installation of the units.
Step two: To close the socket, press the red arrow button and the socket will rotate 180 degree to conceal the receptacles. To open the socket, press the green button and the socket will rotate 180 degree to reveal the receptacles.
