KYN -40.5 metal-clad enclosed switchgear is a small-sized switching equipment developed and manufactured by Dongyuan Electrical, applicable for three-phase AC 50Hz/60HZ power system to receive and distribute the electric energy, control, protect and detect the circuit. The switchgear has three types of structures: Metal-clad switchgear, mid-mounted switchgear and double busbar panel. It is compatible with SF6 circuit breaker, VD4-40.5 circuit-breaker, ZN72-40.5 fully insulated vacuum circuit-breaker or VED4-40.5 mid-mounted embedded-pole circuit-breaker. The secondary circuit adopts advanced, reliable control & protection unit. The switchgear applies advanced Automated Pressure Gelation (APG) process and reliable all-insulated busbar process to ensure good electrical field distribution. With reasonable structure and stable performance, it is a safe, reliable, convenient and advanced small-size switchgear.
Based on the feedback from users and according to the requirements of provincial and national grids, Dongyuan Electrical optimizes the metal-clad product(panel width 1400mm). In comparison with the original construction, the structural process, insulation and protective measures have been greatly improved. Without using the insulating partitions, the air insulation distance can meet the requirements of the power system, solving the problem of insulation decrease as a result of long-term operation. The product has passed the internal arc test and the internal arc classification is verified to AFLR 31.5kA for 0.5 second, meeting the technical requirements of the State Grid and suitable for substations including and above 220kV and substations with harsh operating environment.
