Preview: YDEJ100L6-1.5KW Duble Speed Electromagnetic Brake Motors (Brake without Electricity), a kind of enclosed and self-cooling squirrel-cage motor, is designed especially for the textile machine industry. It is a new product that has additional DC brake and worm decelerating machine. It is the best choice for the textile machine industry as it possesses those advantages like high efficiency and energy conservation, high starting torque, fast and reliable braking, accurate locating, slight vibration, low noise, great longevity, advanced and rational structure and slow heating. Design Features and Operating Principles: It is made up of Y series motors, additional decelerating machine and brake. The part of decelerating machine consists of turbine, endless screw, box, end cover, etc. The reduction ratio is 1:62. The braking part contains energizing coil, brake flange, armature, iron core and so on. When the main motor is electrified, and the electricity in the electromagnetic brack, energizing coil as well as the auxiliary motor is cut off, the main motor will work normally. It will brake immediately when it is out of electricity and the energizing coil is connected to 24V direct current. When it needs to operate slowly, you may switch on the current to the auxiliary motor and it will drive the speed of the shaft on the main motor to 22r/min through the founction of the decelerating machine and the friction plate of the brake. Operating conditions of the main motor: the main motor and the energizing coil are electrifide while the auxiliary motor is not. Braking conditions: The main/auxiliary motor and the energizing coil are all out of electricity. Slowly working conditions: the main motor and the energizing coil are turned off, the auxiliary motor is on.

They are widely used in those machines that start at a low speed but operate and brake at a high speed, mainly the high-speed automatic needle looms, zipper needle looms, high precision screw feeders and so on.
Notes: Angle a between the small electromotor and the plane where the main electromotor is installed can be rotated 90 degrees according to the request.
Operation Principle:
The mechine will work normally when only the main electromotor is electrified.
The mechine will stop immediately when the electricity in the main electromotor is cut off with the brake is electrified at the same time.
When electrified, the small electromotor, through the electromagnetic brake, will drive the shaft of the main electromotor to circumvolve at a speed of 22r/min.
