Pre-insulated bimetallic lug is composed of an aluminum barrel friction welded to an aluminum or copper palm. The insulation of the barrel is made with a black thermoplastic sealed with a flexible elastomeric ring.A seal is also installed in, between the copper and the aluminum, in order to avoid galvanic corrosion.The crimping is made directly on the plastic part.
