1. Properties and Usages
Mica splitting is a mica product made primarily by separating and splitting second - best thick plate mica. It has certain thickness and can be made into any shape. It is suitably used to make thin muscovite plate for sticking mica insulating products.
2. Specifications
Mica splitting is classified into the following types based on the maximum opening area of inscribed rectangle. The side - line length ratio of the rectangle is 1: 1-1: 3.

Notes:
1. Mica plate of type SMALL 2 are admissible in mica plates of type 3, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6 and 6.5.
2. Among the plates of type 8 the number of plates with their sizes smaller than 2 cm2 should not exceed 20 percent of the total number.
